invites in prescribed format as per Annexure-I for appointment in MES for the undermentioned posts, from Indian Citizens as declared eligible by the Government of India, Ministry of Defence.

The application in the given format on A-4 size paper (210mmx297mm) typed neatly in
English duly filled in should be sent to MILITARY ENGINEERING SERVICES, HEADQUARTERS CHIEF ENGINEER UDHAMPUR ZONE, OPPOSITE CHOPRA SHOP, UDHAMPUR-182121 (J&K). Only attested copies of certificates and testimonials should be attached with the application. Original copies should not be attached. Top right hand
corner of the envelope for application should clearly mention “APPLICATION FOR APPOINTMENT FOR THE POST OF _____________________ (CATEGORY), CHOICE OF EXAMINATION CENTRE”. The applicants are required to
enclose one self addressed envelope of size 220mmx100mm duly affixed with postal stamp of Rs 27/- only.
Applications complete in all respect must be received in Chief Engineer Udhampur Zone, Udhampur by 30 Dec 2011 upto 1700 Hrs.

Minimum Qualification: Industrial Training Institute (ITI) pass from a recognized Institute in respective trade.
(For example: Mate (Electician) should be in possession of ITI Certificate in Electric/Wireman/Lineman trades, similarly
Mate (FGM) shall possess certificate in Mechanic discipline, etc.)
